SPOT HEIGHTS OF THE RAVNA GORA MOUNTAIN TRAIL TOUR
KT-1: RESTAURANT BJELOLASICA (796 m)
KT-2: ABYSS KOSICA (970 m)
Active abyss in which the water from the slopes of hills Poletina (913 m/nm) and Javorova kosa (1016 m/nm) are flowing, carrying two streams that are sinking into deep valley ravines. These ravines merge below Kosica at an altitude of 790 m. The abyss is 207 m deep and the length of all channels is 737 m. There are no traces of stalactite layers in the abyss.
KT-3: THE PEAK KICLJEV VRH (920 m)
From this spot you have an unforgettable view on the villages Bukov Vrh, Brod Moravice, Brod Kupa and the Slovenian mountains rising above the river Kupa. You can also see Rudač, Debela kosa, Višnjevica, Bjelolasica and Javorova kosa. Kiceljev Peak is most beautiful in the middle of July when numerous lilies are blooming.
KT-4: THE PIT KICLJEVE JAME (800 m)
There are two pits: the White and the Black Pit comprising a unique object. The exploration started in 1963 and was completed in 1985. The length of all channels amounts 1075 m and the depth 285 m.
KT-5: RUDAČ - VIJENAC (899 m)
Additionally to the view on Bukovo field as well as the Kicljev vrh above the field, you have a free view on the western part of Gorski kotar and towards Slovenia, and especially on Skradinski Peak and picturesque villages Hribac and Divjake. You can also see Debela kosa, Turmin, Višnjevica, Klek, Bjelolaica, Burni Bitoraj, Maj, Čelimbaša and Javorova kosa.
KT-6: JAVOROVA KOSA (1016 m) – THE MOUNTAIN JAVOROVA KOSA WITH SPRING BOŽJII STUDENAC
On Javorova kosa you will find the mountain chalet "Javorova kosa” built by the members of the Mountaineering Association "Višnjevica”. Next to the chalet are a shelter and a woodshed with wood prepared for use in winter months. It is possible to use the external grill.
The viewpoint "Javorova kosa” is approximately 150 m away from the chalet at a spot height 1016 m above the sea level.
KT-7: CASTLE STARA SUŠICA (742 m)
The old Frankopan castle is located on a mountain slope, by a coniferous forest. In the 19th century the castle was owned by count Laval Nugent and in 1890 it was bought by the tradesmen from Rijeka Feliks and Josip Neuberger. The castle was restored in the romantic spirit of its time.
KT-8: THE MONTAIN TURMIN (1085 m)
There are no extraordinary sights from the peak, but the path is passing through magnificent wood landscapes. It is especially beautiful in May and June when wild garlic is blooming.
KT-9: MOUNTAIN CHALET "LOKANDA" (963 m)
It was adapted in 1983 from an old neglected forest house. It is located near the peak Višnjevica, approximately 8 km south from Ravna Gora, at an altitude of 963 m above sea level. The house has a capacity of 10 beds in the attic, a small living room in the attic, a larger living room and kitchen on the ground floor.

KT-10: VIŠNJEVICA (1367 m)
The highest mountain in Ravna Gora Municipality. From the viewpoint, before climbing the peak, you have a magnificent view on Ravna Gora., Turmin, Javorova kosa. In early spring numerous snowdrops are blooming below the peak itself.
KT-11: BJELOLASICA (1533 m)
The highest mountain of Gorski kotar. It is also an important point for many mountain trails: Kapelski mountain trail, Ogulinska transverzala, Along Croatian Mountains, Končarevac and Ravna Gora mountain trail.
From Bjelolasica you have a view on: Velebit, Lička Plješivica (east), Velika Javornica, Bijele, Samarske and Kolovratske cliffs, Alija, Ričičko bilo (south), islands Krk, Cres, Lošinj, Kvarner Gulf, Učka (west), Julian Alps with Triglav, Kamnik Alps with Grintavac, Burni Bitoraj, Viševica (southwest), Mirkovica, Medvednica, and in clear nights you can also see the lights of Zagreb (north).
KT-12: BEGOVO RAZDOLJE (1078 m)
Village with the highest altitude above sea level in Croatia.
